If you’ve journeyed with us before, you know our retreats are heartfelt experiences—designed to nourish your soul, reconnect you to your essence, and foster authentic community. Each moment is curated with love and intention to support your wellbeing and spark meaningful connection.
This retreat with Caramia Tambornino invites you to move with intention, rest with purpose, and revel in the beauty of simply being—together—in the serene embrace of Northern California Wine Country.
Join Caramia for a weekend of presence and renewal, as we gather with like-minded humans just outside the charming town of Sonoma. Through grounding practices and joyful connection, you’ll return to what feels most true within you.
Settle into the rhythm of summer—long golden days, warm starlit evenings, and nature’s quiet wisdom. Nestled among oak trees and wild grasses, Westerbeke Ranch offers the perfect setting to pause, reflect, and replenish.
Our time together will include deeply nourishing yoga and meditation sessions, delicious farm-to-table meals, dips in the pool, relaxing soaks in the hot tub, and optional onsite massage and acupuncture. With plenty of spaciousness woven in, you’ll be free to reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with the natural world around you.
Our Home for the weekend
Built in the 1930’s, it nestles amid stately oaks, surrounded by rolling grass hills and vineyards in Sonoma’s Valley of the Moon.
However you get here, you’ll be sorry to leave. Whether you come to work, to celebrate, or simply to relax, the grace and warmth of the Westerbeke Ranch gets inside of you. Walking the garden paths, warming your hands in front of the crackling “walk-in” stone fireplace, lounging on the lawn around the sapphire pool, or finishing up another scrumptious meal with some extraordinary chocolate mousse dessert, you might hear yourself think, “I could get used to this.”
Our Cabins
Delightful paths lead to charming redwood cabin retreats, nestled among trees and gardens. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and residence area for privacy and unwinding. For relaxation in the midst of a natural setting, our cabins offer the graceful simplicity that most guests (and their spirits) yearn for.

Meet your Yoga Teacher
CARAMIA TAMBORNINO
YOGI AND SPIRITUAL LEADER
Caramia began practicing yoga in 1978 in Minnesota, at Shanti House, a home for homeless and recovering teens. This physically and mentally challenging experience saved her life, and lit the yoga path to living a life filled with stability and acceptance.
Throughout her adult life, she felt compelled to establish real connections and give back. First, serving as a VP of sales training in cosmetics which later led to becoming a Wellness Advocate and Director of Marketing in San Francisco for Brown and Toland, a prestigious Bay Area Medical Services organization.
Due to a demanding career life, along with parenting two children (and a failing marriage), her yoga practice slipped to the side and she hit the hard wall of burnout and emotional fatigue. In 2008, with an urgent need to heal and transform, coupled with a burning desire to leave the “health care” industry and help those in need of REAL health care, she made a courageous decision to return home.....to her mat and enrolled in a yoga teaching training program. With an emphasis on each person's intimate journey, Caramia currently leads Yoga Teacher Trainings, yoga retreats, workshops and private clients. Her upbeat classes are vinyasa based, meditative, breath centric, and include anatomical alignment, and injury management prevention.
