Join us as we return to the awe inspiring sun-drenched beauty of Baja Sur from November 4–8 2026 for a soul nourishing yoga and meditation retreat with Caramia Tambornino. Curated to help you unwind, play, reconnect, and reset before the busy holiday season asks you for more of your time.
Hosted on a big beautiful private white sand beach on the Sea of Cortez, Grand Sueño offers a dreamy playful getaway with privacy and no tourist distractions. Our retreat space offers direct access to the beach…..like kick off your flip-flops and mosey right to the sea from your mat kind of access.
Invigorating morning yoga and meditation will unfold to the sound of the waves overlooking the sea in our covered open air studio under a majestic palapa. Our evening yoga will be Restorative in nature (no pun intended) under the stars on the beach and by the pool.
Between practices you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Baja Sur—swim in the warm clear waters, snorkel, paddle board along the coastline, play pickleball or volley ball, or read “that book” while relaxing on the beach.

OUR RETREAT VENUE
Bahia De los Suenos (“Bay of Dreams”)is about 35 miles southeast of La Paz and roughly 2 hours north of Cabo San Lucas. It’s intentionally remote and secluded, reached by a dirt road through desert landscape before opening onto a quiet mostly private bay.
This secluded beachfront sanctuary is located on Sea of Cortez and is Tucked away on Baja’s untouched coastline, this private oasis sits on expansive desert-meets-ocean landscapes, where the mountains meet miles of soft sandy beach, and the sea stretches endlessly to the horizon.
Gran Sueño offers Huge marine biodiversity (Jacques Cousteau once called it “the world’s aquarium”) and is known for its relaxed luxury and serene atmosphere; making it an ideal setting for yoga, meditation, and deep restoration. The property spans acres of lush grounds and offers direct access to more than a mile of quiet white-sand beach, where calm clear waters invite swimming, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and peaceful sunrise walks along the shore.

HOW TO GET THERE
Traveling to our Baja Sur retreat is part of the adventure and easier than you might think.
From San Francisco International Airport (SFO), you can take a direct flight to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) in San José del Cabo. The flight is approximately 2.5–3 hours. From there, Gran Sueño in Bahía de los Sueños is about a 1.5–2 hour scenic drive along the Sea of Cortez.
Another option is to fly from San Francisco to Los Angeles (LAX) and connect to La Paz International Airport (LAP), which is the closest airport to the retreat. From La Paz, the drive to Gran Sueño is about 45–60 minutes.
As the retreat approaches, we will share recommended shuttle and transportation options so you can easily coordinate transfers with other guests. The journey itself is beautiful—desert landscapes, open skies, and sparkling ocean views welcoming you to this peaceful corner of Baja Sur

This premiere four-bedroom, four bath, 3200 sq oceanfront villa offers guests an unparalleled resort experience with expansive grounds and breathtaking views of the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range and the Sea of Cortez. Enjoy your private outdoor sitting area or walk a few steps to the beautiful white sandy beach of the Bay of Dreams.
This large villa has two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms down all with breathtaking views of the Bay of Dreams. The upper bedrooms have an outdoor sitting area that looks out onto the bay, private bathrooms and comfortable queen size beds. The lower primary bedroom is equipped with a king bed that looks out onto the main pool and the Bay of Dreams. The fourth bedroom has two king size beds, sitting areas inside and out. All bedrooms have storage/closet space for personal items to make yourself feel at home and private bathrooms

The spacious king size bedroom is fully equipped with a work station, double vanities in the bathroom and indoor/outdoor showers to clean up after a day at the beach. This suite offers guests an unparalleled resort experience with expansive grounds and breathtaking views of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountain range and the Sea of Cortez. Just a short walk from your private balcony to the beautiful white sandy beach of the Bay of Dreams.The suite is one of four in a quadplex next to our Pickleball Courts.

XPLOREFIT does not offer refunds for the deposit and payments for any reason.
If you should need to cancel prior to the last payment payment deadline, you will not be responsible for the remainder of your payment. Should you need to cancel on or after the last payment deadline, the remainder of your payment must be paid in full. XPLOREFIT is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, positive covid test, extended lodging and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
Shared Occupancy Suites
For those traveling solo to our retreat, we understand the value of camaraderie and shared experiences. We will diligently strive to pair you with another like-minded participant for our shared occupancy suite. However, in the event we cannot find an appropriate match, please note that you would be responsible for the cost of a single occupancy space. We aim to create a harmonious environment for all and appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Travel cancellation insurance
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel cancellation insurance. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
