There's a kind of magic that only happens when you let yourself go wild again — barefoot on warm earth, salt on your skin, breath moving freely for the first time in months. That's the spirit behind Tonic of Wildness, and this year, it's taking us somewhere truly special.
Katerina and Suzanna are bringing this retreat to Mallorca, Spain — a dream the two of them have been chasing for a while now. After a couple of years of imagining it, they've finally locked in the dates they wanted at an extraordinary sanctuary that feels made for exactly this kind of gathering. From September 1st to 6th, 2027 get ready to experience the magic of Mallorca alongside a small community ready to move, breathe, rest, and reconnect.
OUR HOME FOR THE WEEK
Tucked into the countryside of Santanyi, just inland from Mallorca's turquoise coastline, Cal Reiet is a holistic sanctuary built around one simple idea: that people — real connection, real care — are at the heart of everything. The property unfolds across peaceful gardens and open grounds, centered on a saltwater pool and a spa where steam rooms, saunas, and treatment spaces invite total surrender. Mornings begin with yoga in the open air; days move at the pace of the sun. The on-site restaurant draws straight from Cal Reiet's own kitchen garden, plating organic, plant-forward meals designed to nourish rather than just feed. It's often described as a "house of friendship" — and once you're there, you'll understand why. This is a place built for slowing down, letting go, and feeling completely cared for.
It's the perfect backdrop for a week of wildness, wellness, and the kind of transformation that only happens far from your everyday routine. Come find us in Mallorca.

THE ISLAND
Mallorca is the largest of Spain's Balearic Islands, floating in the Mediterranean about 150 miles off Spain's eastern coast. It's an island of contrasts: dramatic limestone peaks tumble down to turquoise coves in the northwest, while the interior unfolds into a patchwork of almond groves, vineyards, and centuries-old stone fincas. The Serra de Tramuntana — a UNESCO World Heritage mountain range — runs along the northern coast and shelters honey-colored villages like Deià and Valldemossa, both long favored by artists and writers for their quiet, almost otherworldly beauty.
The island's character comes from this blend of wild nature and old-world charm. Along the coastline, hidden calas (coves) cut into the rock, their water somewhere between blue and green and often reachable only by a hike through pine forest. Inland, the pace slows: shepherd trails wind between olive trees said to be a thousand years old, and small family-run bodegas still press their own oil and wine. Palma, the capital, anchors it all with its Gothic cathedral rising over the harbor, a medieval old town, and a food and art scene that's grown considerably more sophisticated in recent decades without losing its local soul.
What makes Mallorca especially suited to a retreat setting is that stillness sits right next to that richness — it's an island where you can spend a morning in silence overlooking the sea and an afternoon wandering a village market, all within a short drive. The Mediterranean light, the scent of pine and rosemary, and the slower rhythm of rural life are part of why places like Cal Reiet chose to root themselves in the island's southern countryside rather than its busier resort towns.
